"TODAY is the first day of the rest of your life"-as you have heard before.
With a new year upon us, this is the perfect time to consider what you want for your life, your family, and your children. What are some of your dreams, wishes and goals? What do you want to accomplish in your personal area of your life, your financial area, your spiritual area? What are your short term goals and your long term goals in each of these areas?

Now would be a great time to start with cleaning out-literally some of your OLD stuff in your life. This is the time of the year to look at that bathroom and consider taking a hard look at the skincare, make-up and color items that you have in that drawer.

Years ago I had a "Personal Imagery" business in California and helped women clean out their cosmetic graveyard of skincare, color cosmetics, makeup, etc. and we updated everything. You can do the same thing with creating three little piles: The Good, The Bad and not sure.

Take a few minutes and go through that make-up drawer and separate your items. Clean out all your make-up and hair brushes with a light sudsy detergent that is gentle. Buy a pretty tall vase to put all your make-up brushes in, pretty vases with a bow on it for your coet squares that you cleanse your face with in the morning and in the evening.

Place attractive candles of your favorite color and that look pretty on your vanity. Rolled towels with lacey trim and washcloths can be draped around on your rack and the tub edge and placed neatly in a beautiful basket. These can be purchased on sale at Bed, Bath & Beyond, Target, Walmart, etc.
Make it your special place to get ready in the morning.

You can even put a DVD player or tape player in your bedroom nearby and play your favorite music, or your self-help tapes while you step out of the shower and get ready in the morning. Make this your private place and yours alone!!!

Remember, no one you know better deserves it more than You!
